Boys 7v7 Passing Football & Girls Flag Football Registration Open

7v7 Flag Football is a fast-paced, non-contact version of football that emphasizes skill, speed, and precision. Unlike traditional football, there is no tackling; play is whistled dead when a defender removes an opponent’s flag.   Teams will be divided by age groups of 6U/7U, 8U/9U, 10U/11U, and 12U/13U.

All participants may register individually and be placed on a team, or may registered as a team for individual Sunday tournaments.

Tournament Schedule & Format

  • Game Days: All tournament play takes place every Sunday afternoons.

  • Volume of Play: Teams should be prepared for a high-intensity schedule with up to 2-3 games per session.

  • Pace of Play: Games are designed to move quickly to accommodate multiple matchups within the afternoon window.

Equipment Requirements

To keep the tournament running smoothly, players must adhere to the following:

  1. Flag Belts: provided.

  2. Mouthguards: Highly recommended for all participants.

  3. Cleats: Standard plastic or rubber cleats are allowed (no metal spikes).

  4. Uniforms: provided for individuals, complete teams need to provide uniforms.

Core Game Rules

  • Team Composition: Rosters consist of 7 to 10 players.

  • Passing-Heavy Format: The game is played under 7v7 passing rules, focusing on aerial strategy and quick execution.

  • The "Tackle": Defending players must pull the flag from the ball carrier’s belt to end a play.

  • No Contact: Physical blocking or "checking" is strictly prohibited to ensure player safety.

Practices will be conducted 3-24-26/6pm and 3-26-26/6pm.  

Tournament Sundays (1pm to 7pm):  3-29-26, 4-12-26, 4-19-26, 4-26-26, 5-3-26, 5-17-26, 5-24-26.

  • Location: All games are played Sunday afternoons at the Riley Field Sports Complex.
  • Game Format: Expect 1–2 games per Sunday throughout a 7–9 week season (including playoffs).
  • Practices: Usually 1–2 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) depending on your coach’s schedule.
  • Equipment:
  • Provided: Jersey and flags.
  • Required: Mouthpiece and shorts without pockets.
  • Recommended: Cleats.

The Peachtree City Packers are a part of the Central Georgia Youth Sports League (CGYSA).  Registration for Fall Football will open March 1st, 2026 for players, and cheerleaders from 6U to 12U for individual players and entire teams.

Registration will open February 1st, 2026 for:

  1. Spring Girls Flag Football.

            Registration Costs: 

             Spring Football (girls and boys):  $400 - REGISTRATION OPEN CLICK HERE

             Fall Tackle Football:  $475

             Sideline Cheerleading:  $450

Summer Camp:  $175 (free/refunded when registered for Fall football)

The format for Fall Girls Flag Football will consist of full field flag football under GHSA flag football guidelines.

FAQ for Fall Tackle Football

1.  The league is playing in the Central Georgia Youth Sports Association (www.cgysa.org)

2.  Practices are generally twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursday, but TBD by the head coach.

3.  Games are expected to start Aug 23rd, and continue for 8-10 weeks on Saturdays.

4.  Registration is open for an entire team or individual players.

5.  Our league was formally Starr's Mill Youth Football, McIntosh Youth Football, and Fayette County Community Youth Football.  The Pack is Back!!!

6.  Football equipment to be purchased by parents is a hard shell football chin strap, fitted mouthpiece attached to helmet, athletic under clothing and underwear, football cleats, and 1/2 to 1 gallon of water to all events.  A certified football helmet, shoulder pads, and practice/game uniforms are provided.  All may be purchased through the TeamStore above.

7.  Players registered for the Fall are free to attend the mandatory acclimation camps at no charge.  Players that register for Summer Camp only, can sign up for Fall Football and have their registration fees for Summer refunded by emailing the league.
